Everything happens in one day. As the protagonist alights from his flight in India, he is taken for a ride, literally. For the first few minutes, as things happen in a flurry, your heart races anticipating the turn of events. Eventually, you settle to an engrossing fare with an unusual end. The end, as the beginning, raises many questions. About how unsuspecting Muslims are used by those in power to spread terror.

Dr Aamir Ali (Rajeev Khandelwal) is one such unsuspecting Muslim who is dragged to the vortex of terrorism. His only crime; that of being a Muslim. But does he succumb to the terror tactics or does he bow down before God? Does he do what is asked of him, or does he sacrifice his life and is labeled a suicide bomber, for his family to bear the stigma?

'Aamir' is a rare film, which provides us food for thought without burdening us with sermons on the quality of existence. The thrill element presides over the message. The disturbing undercurrents just flow out of the story with a virile fluency.

The plot of the movie revolves around a girl named Gudiya (Divya Dutta).
Gudiya is married to an army soldier Arif. But only after 10 days of her marriage, Arif leaves his newly wedded wife to serve his motherland in the Kargil war. Every thing goes smoothly and even Gudiya is proud and happy to have a brave soulmate like Aarif.
But days pass by, and there is no news of Arif's side.Eventually, the Indian army allegedly calls him a traitor. Gudiya waits for him for four years,and atlast decides to compromise with the situation and agrees to marry her cousin Taufiq.
Two years later, Gudiya is now happily settled in her married life and the couple is expecting their first child.
But fate had other plans and Aarif comes back.He was mysteriously abducted and was taken into custody by the Pakistani military.But he some how managed to return back. On returning he claims Gudiya, his wife as he had not divorced her. Gudiya and Taufiq are now in a difficult situation. Gudiya too has moved on in her life.
Although being legally married to Taufiq, Gudiya goes back to Arif.Gudiya did not have a choice to make. The story illustrates an emotional saga of a helpless woman – Gudiya.

Finally RGV is back with something more useful.
This film was great as the godfather of India Big b performance is outstanding. Abhishek Maked lot of effort to be comfort for his role. Aishwariya Rai Bachan was o-k I didn't want her to be in the film but she is OK. RGV is here with Sarkar 2 and i will recommended u too see this film because its explain every plan of it. Its great , emotional , realistic,. I know this film gonna be a flop because every film of RGV was like Nishabd , Darling , Aag biggest flop of 2007 but u will have to watch it its a special film is suit every character. Amitabh Bachan's performance its inelastic its great and mind-blowing.

'Sarkar' and its sequel are essentially emotional father-son stories.
'Sarkar Raj' could have been what Coppola's 'Godfather 2' was to 'The Godfather'. Instead, Varma shrouds the characters' grief and angst in a cryptic chaos.
